The paper attempts to trace metafictional aspects in the works of Mohamed Mustagab and to explore the technical reasons that led him to employ them.

The paper is divided into three parts: pre-text, text, and post-text.

The paper focuses on what the author writes in a technical way to evaluate the structure of the text and explore aspects of metafiction that reveal their artistic value after the completion of the text.
