This Study on banks operating in Afif area (Al Rajhi-Al Ahli-Alarabi).

The study aims to investigate the effect of financial risks in financing decisions on commercial banks inSaudiArabia-Empirical mainproblem of thestudy exemplifies to know the types of financial risks that face the commercial banks in Saudi Arabia , as well as how they are taken by the financial decisions of those banks.The objectives of study to define the financial risks and their types, definition of the different types of financing and the process of how to be taken finally to know the views of financial specialists about the process of financing to banks through a questionnairedemonstrates the financing process risks to those banks.

The researcher has used in this study deductive method to identify problem dimensions ,descriptive method for theoretical study and analytical method for applied study.The most important results researcher has found out that the Saudi commercial banks faced several type of financial risks when exercise their activities and most of these risks have not related to macroeconomic but it’s wrong policies pursued by the managers.

The most important recommendations that study recommended are necessary to establish risks management to study the risks and how to prevent them before occur, as well as continued education and training for employees and managers to raise the efficiency and effectiveness of their performance.
