The study aims to explain the interal conflicts in the African continents and its impact on the continens security, with internal conflicts in South Sudan and the impact of this conflict on security in the horn of Africa .

The study focused on explaining the geographical location of South Sudan and demographics and ethnic diversity which clearly.

Then the development of the conflict after the break up of Sudan in the year 2011 The study aims to highlight in South Sudan and its impact on the loca and continen-tal ocean.Importance of the study cautioned that it describes the conflict in South Sudan and its transformation from aregional conflict allan conflinct adversely affecting peace and security in the continent.

The study followed historical and analytical descriptive approach in order to reach results it was most important that the conflict in South Sudan threatens the security of the African contnent and further surgeries that never heal and the most important recommendations to increase the effectiveness of the African role to maintain peace and security in Afreca.
