The aim of this study is to shed light on the theoretical background of the concepts related to the study of the institution's mission and sources of gaining competitive advantage in economic institutions in general and the Saidal Group in Algeria for the pharmaceutical industry' in particular.

The study found that the Group in its endeavor to achieve its superiority in front of competing institutions to formulate its mission in an effective way that contains all elements of the successful message, and that the competitive advantage applied in the pharmacy is the advantage of low cost through its dependence on manufacturing generic or imitation drugs.

The positive effects of drafting a message on Saidal Group were evaluated by increasing the market share, competitiveness, increasing its profits, increasing customer loyalty, but in varying proportions.
