The aim of this study is to highlight some variables affecting the export opportunities of Algerian agricultural raw materials (1980-2017).

As a result, the weakness of current and future developments in the annual values of agricultural exports according to the ARDL model is mainly due to weak production capacity in terms of added value in the agricultural sector.

As well as the weak competitiveness of the economy in terms of real effective exchange rate index, and weak marketing capacity in terms of inflation.

In addition to the negative impact of the retreat in proportion of rural population.

It is therefore important that emphasis is placed on desert agriculture because it is a promising agriculture, given the ease with which surface water is available, temperature suitable for crop maturity, and other circumstances.

And it is necessary to apply the agricultural marketing system to improve the export performance of local agricultural products.
