This study aims to show the impact of the protection of industrial property rights on the attraction of foreign direct investment transfer of technology, as this protection is an important influence on the decision to make investment, especially direct by foreign companies.

She pointed out that one of the direct fruits resulting from strong protection of intellectual property in general and industrial property in particular was the promotion of technology transfer through foreign direct investment, since strengthening intellectual property rights protection systems would encourage technology transfers from developed to developing countries.

Whether through permits or disclosure of innovations, local companies have increased access to new technology.

On the other hand, if the protection system is strong and effective and provides adequate protection for the investor, this will encourage investment in all its aspects and that the rights of investors will not be infringed and the volume of investments in these countries will increase.

This study concluded that the protection of industrial property rights is not the only factor in attracting FDI, but can be considered as one of the factors contributing to this polarization
