الملخص EN

The present study aims at knowing the effect of the declarative behavior and relaxation in reducing the anxiety of the cognitive imaging of preparatory female students through testing the zero hypotheses.

The research is limited to the fourth class students in Baghdad in the academic year 2010/2011.

The sample consists of (30) students from the preparatory stage randomly distributed into three groups with (10) students in each one.: the first experimental group (10).

the second experimental group (10) and the controlled group (10) which does not receive anything.

In order to achieve the aims of the research, the researcher has used the following:- A-The researcher has adopted the scale of the cognitive imaging anxiety of Al-Gumaili(2 010), where the validity, reliability and the discriminatory power ar e counted and ascertained B-The counseling program, which includes two styles: the declarative behavior and relaxation.

They are studied under Jos«ph Wellbey theory.

The number of sessions are (12), two sessions per week.

In order to ascertain the procedures of the research and its results, the researcher has used the following statistical means:- - Chai - test, t-test for two independent samples.

- Pearson correlation coefficient.

- Spearman coefficient.

- Cuador Richardson 21.

Tokv test The results of the research show that there is no statistically significant difference between the first and the second experimental groups.

There is a statistically significant difference between the second experimental and die controlled groups for the benefit of the second experimental group.

This indicates that the two styles , namely, the declarative behavior and relaxation are effective and they have effect on reducing the anxiety- of cognitive imaging.

Where the counted F- value is (20,69) higher than the tabulated value (3,32) on significance level (0,05) and freedom degree (2,27).

In order to ascertain the continuity of the effect of the two styles, the scale has been applied after (45) days.

The researcher has assured the continuity of rts effect by using the postponed test.

The zero hypothesis is accepted which includes that there is no statistical difference among the averages of grades of the two experimental with four tests; - (the first experimental, the second experimental in the post - test ) - (the first experimental, die second experimental in the postponed - test)
