The aim of this study is to describe the psychosocial profile of the Algerian high-risk driver.
It is a Witnesses / case study done through a self-administered questionnaire.
The results show that the high-risk driver is often a young male (73% men), with a low or average level of education, unemployed and frequently exposed to road risks.
On the aspect of personality he usually scores high in neuroticism and extraversion.
الملخص FRE
L’objectif de ce travail est de décrire le profil psychosocial du conducteur algérien à haut risque.
Il s’agit d’une enquête de type cas/ Témoins par auto-questionnaire.
Les résultats montrent que le conducteur à haut risque est souvent un jeune de sexe masculin (73% des hommes), d’un niveau d’instruction faible ou moyen, chômeur et fréquemment exposé aux risques routiers.
Sur l’aspect de personnalité, généralement, il a des scores en neuroticisme et en extraversion élevé.
