Results of this study revealed that the adult wings were able to carry the insect body weight up to 1.8 g, and the insect flight activity started at temperatures of 30.7-35.5 C and the longest flight distance and period reached 53.6 m and 50.7 sec, respectively.

The average daily food consumed by females and males were 16.9 and 12.1 cm2, respectively.

Both sexes preferred leaves over other parts of the plant.
