The phenomenon of commercial dumping in the Iraqi economy is one of the most important problems that the Iraqi economy suffers after 2003 due to the increase in imports clearly from year to year and for various commodities, especially agricultural and industrial goods and the absence of the trade policy that governs imports, which led to the weakening of the Iraqi economy as a result of low prices of imported goods and their replacement Gradually replacing local commodities, which led to numerous negative effects on all economic activities and made the Iraqi market belong to neighboring countries in a manner that threatens national security, especially with regard to agricultural commodities.

In order to reach the goal of research about the disadvantages and risks of the merchandise dumping phenomenon that the Iraqi economy is exposed to, especially after 2003 and the most important implications for it and the mechanisms required to combat that phenomenon.

During what it generates from weakening the competitiveness of local commodities and thus the dominance and monopoly of foreign commodities on the Iraqi market, which in turn leads to a decline in local productive activity, especially agricultural and industrial.

The research reached a number of recommendations, the most important of which were: 1- The necessity of exerting more efforts to combat the phenomenon of commodity dumping by supporting producers and establishing specialized groups to highlight the seriousness of this phenomenon and imposing customs taxes on imported goods in a way that makes their prices close to the prices of local commodities.
