Abu Zarah lived under the rule of the Circassian Mamluk sultans in Egypt, which was characterized by political turmoil and insecurity, as well as the scientific situation was moving towards progress and prosperity.

Abu Zarah started his scientific life from an early period of his life, where he enjoyed the strength of conservation and keenness to seek knowledge and frequent scientific trips and receiving a large number of senior sheikhs, which had the most impact in his knowledge and abundance of production, as well as belonging to a family of ancient Arab Known as science and knowledge, as his father Abdul Rahim bin Hussein of the renowned modern scientists, has taken care of him and heard many of his works and narrated.

Abu Zarah is one of the prominent scholars who were interested in studying the translations of modern men in the eighth and ninth centuries AH.He exerted a great effort in absorbing the scientific material in writing his book, mentioning the statements of wound and amendment scientists, indicating the flaw in some narrators who are described as fraudulent as a result of inattention and forgetfulness.

Abu Zarah approach was characterized by clarity and scientific honesty by mentioning the sources on which he relied, and he was investigating the accuracy of the transfer of resources.

Distinguished Abu Zarah approach in criticizing men with moderation and away from emphasis, taking into account the necessary proof before the verdict on the narrator.

The position of the narrators Almdalsin shows from the apparent words in his work that if there is a lot of fraud from the narrator does not accept his novel, but if the fraud of the narrator is rare, it accepts fraud, and God knows best.
