الملخص الإنجليزي

The present research aimed to determine the most appropriate level of cognitive motivation and the most appropriate size for the work group in the e-learning environment based on web 3.0 technologies in relation to their influence in developing ecommunication skills among university students, by revealing the impact of the interaction between the level of cognitive motivation (high - Low) and the size of the workgroup (medium, small) in the e-learning environment based on the technologies of the third generation of the web in developing e-communication skills of university students.

The research sample consisted of (160) female students from the preparatory year students at Majmaah University in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The research tools were represented in the cognitive motivation scale, an observation tool and an achievement Quizz test were prepared to measure the cognitive and performance aspects of ecommunication skills, where the note card included (5) major axes (skills of using the delivery folder tool, discussions, groups, virtual classes, blogs) , And measurement tools were applied beforehand, where the cognitive motivation scale was applied before, monitoring the grades, and taking the higher quadrant as the height of the cognitive motivation (40) students, and the lowest quadrant as the cognitive motivation low (40) students, then dividing each level into medium groups (2) groups, each number (10) Female students, and Small groups (4) groups each of (5) students, so that the core sample included (80) students inside (4) major experimental groups (small groups with high cognitive motivation, medium groups with high cognitive motivation, small groups with low cognitive motivation, and medium groups Low cognitive motivation) then Observation tool, achievement Quizz.

The experimental processing material was to design an e-learning environment within the D2L e-learning system based on thirdgeneration technologies for the web and student study within groups, then apply both the observation card and the achievement test after dimension.

The results indicated that there is no effect of the interaction between the level of cognitive motivation and the size of working groups in web 0.3 technologies in developing electronic communication skills among university students.

And that the elearning environment within the D2L e-learning system based on third-generation technologies for the web affected the development of electronic communication skills among university students when working in groups within the system regardless of the size of these groups, whether small or medium, and whether these groups are high or low motivation Cognitive giving students with a low cognitive motivation more training and activities.
