The objectives of the study were to identify the nature of the relationship between family support and its four dimensions.

Supporting husband, supporting children, supporting friends and family, supporting social institutions, and empowering women in all three aspects.

, Decisions concerning the family budget, decisions regarding family requirements, decisions concerning the building of social relations, decisions concerning children, and some social and economic variables of the family (age difference between spouses, , The number of years of marriage, the number of years of work of the wife, the level of education of the husband and wife, the amount of the wife's participation in household expenses, the categories of monthly income), and the nature of the differences between each of the workers (urban women and rural women working in government agencies and private workers) And the nature of the differences between female heads of households.

The sample of the study is based on family support, empowerment of women, decisionmaking method of female workers according to number of family members, duration of marriage, educational level of husband and wife, monthly income categories of the family, Participation In household expenses).

The study was followed by the analytical descriptive approach, where the questionnaire of the family support was prepared and codified.

The questionnaire on the empowerment of women and the questionnaire of the decision-making method of the female workers were applied to a sample of female workers who were selected by a purposeful peso method consisting of 277 female workers from Dakahlia governorate from different social and economic levels.

The results showed a positive correlation relationship at the level of significance of 0.01 between the family support by the four interlocutors, the empowerment of women in its three facets and the decision-making method of the working wife in its five dimensions.

There are statistically significant differences between the average female heads of households from rural women in the family support, And the method of decision-making of the working wife in the five dimensions at the level of 0.01, 0.001 and 0.001 respectively for the benefit of the urbanities, there are statistically significant differences between the average degrees of female heads of households working in the public sector and those working in the private sector In terms of family support, and the empowerment of women in all three aspects at a level of 0.001 and 0.05 respectively for women working in the government sector.

There were no statistically significant differences between the average female heads of households in the government sector and those in the private sector in decision- In addition, there was a statistically significant difference between the female heads of households in the family support sample, according to the number of family members, in favor of female heads of households.

The study sample was composed of four members.

The study presented a number of recommendations, the most important of which was the interest of the participation of women in the labor market as it is one of the axes of women's development to help them contribute to decision making, health care, family planning through opening new markets for women to work in.
