Zakat is one of the most important tools of the Islamic economic system, which helps to achieve comprehensive development.Above all, it is the third pillar of Islam's five pillars, which is obligatory for every Muslim who fulfills its conditions, and the guardian must work on collecting it, or assigning those who do his affairs.

Due to the particular importance of zakat, it was necessary to revive and establish institutions that organize this obligatory collection and distribution in the Arab and Islamic countries, Through this research, we highlighted the experiences of the United Arab Emirates and Malaysia, and how they developed their electronic system in the management of Zakat funds, and increased the proceeds and good distribution, Then we touched on the experience of the Algerian Zakat Fund, and proposed a forward-looking vision to develop an electronic system for the Fund, in order to improve the functionality, leading to raise the quality of service to customers, taxpayers and beneficiaries, and Change of collection and distribution mechanisms for Zakat resources.
