Psychological motivations is one of the essential drivers of literary creativity, It is not just a subjective feeling, it is a collective feeling too.

This study aims is to discusses the structure bilateral relationship of hope and pain that was noticed in Mohammed al-Thubaiti's poetry, and their contextual impact mentally and emotionally in the poetic expression.

The study adopts the Inductive method in selecting the study's sample, with psychoanalysis of the phenomenon of hope and pain from the perspective of qualitative content analysis based on meanings, and relations.

The discussion start with the concept of hope and the relation between dream and human, and the diverse expressive reactions.

The study also explains the textual relations between hope and pain in Mohammed Al-Thubaiti's poetry through their most prominent manifestations and how hope is combined phenomenon with pain.

Furthermore the study discusses the general structural features which uncover the expressive discourse duality of hope and pain through imagery and rhythm.
