The present contribution is intended be a descriptive study on the actual language practices of speakers from the city of Constantine, where sustained attention will be paid to the mixing of the languages found there.
Our objective in this article is to shed a sociolinguistic light on language practices in Constantine through the study of the language consumption governing its use in the city.
For this, the linguistic practices of participants from the city have been analyzed by identifying the languages in use, focusing on plurilingual practices and language contact that are responsible for the linguistic mixing phenomenon.

La présente contribution se veut une étude descriptive portant sur les pratiques langagières effectives des locuteurs originaires de la ville de Constantine, où une attention soutenue sera prêtée au brassage des langues qui s'y trouvent.
Notre objectif dans cet article est d'apporter un éclairage sociolinguistique sur les pratiques langagières à Constantine et ce, à travers l'étude des la communication langagière qui y règne.
Nous avons pour cela procédé à l'analyse des pratiques linguistiques des sujets constantinois en dégageant les langues en usage et en prêtant attention aux pratiques plurilingues et au contact des langues qui engendrent conséquemment le phénomène du brassage linguistique.
