The system of scientific research and technological development produces the knowledge and skills needed to enable companies to seize technological opportunities to meet the changing demands of the market.
It is therefore necessary for this system to be able to respond, in qualitative and quantitative terms, to the needs of the economic sector.
Aware of this issue, the Algerian government has undertaken, since independence, to gradually set up scientific and technological structures and institutions.
Currently, Algeria has institutions and research centers in different fields of activity

Le système de la recherche scientifique et du développement technologique produit les connaissances et les compétences indispensables afin de permettre aux entreprises de saisir des opportunités technologiques pour faire face aux exigences évolutives du marché.
Il est donc nécessaire que ce système soit en mesure de répondre, en termes qualitatif et quantitatif, aux besoins du secteur économique.
Conscient de cet enjeu, le gouvernement algérien a entrepris, depuis l'indépendance, de mettre en place progressivement les structures et les institutions scientifiques et technologiques.
Actuellement, l'Algérie compte des établissements et des centres de recherche dans différents domaines d'activités.
