In Algeria, the SME sector has made significant progress since attempts to open up the national economy to the market in the late 1990s.
Today, the economic and social role of the SME is not to be demonstrated.
However, there are a number of obstacles that hamper the operation and development of the SME.
The current COVID-19 pandemic has further complicated the situation of these SMEs.
Through the information gathered in the field in the Bejaia region, the aim of this article is to shed light on the fallout of this crisis on SMEs and the management of this crisis
الملخص FRE
En Algérie, le secteur des PME a réalisé des progrès appréciables depuis les tentatives d'ouverture de l'économie nationale sur le marché à la fin des années 90.
Aujourd'hui, le rôle économique et social de la PME n'est pas à démontrer.
Néanmoins elles souffrent de plusieurs obstacles qui entravent leur fonctionnement et leur développement.
La pandémie actuelle de COVID-19 vient de compliquer d'avantage le quotidien de ces PME.
À travers les informations récoltées sur terrain dans la wilaya de Bejaia, le but de cet article est de faire la lumière sur retombées de cette crise sur les PME et la gestion de cette crise.
