The research aimed to build a proposed strategy for teaching physics to students of the first secondary grade based on TRIZ theory, and discover its effectiveness in developing information generation and evaluation skills and in them.

The research instrument was information generation and evaluation skills test, it was applied to a random sample of (61) students of the first secondary grade from the second high school in Bisha governorate; the approach was quasi-experimental based on the experimental design with the (experimental - control) groups, where the experimental wad taught using the strategy based on TRIZ theory and the control group was taught using the regular method, and the effect of the strategy on developing information generation and evaluation skills was explored in each group.

The findings showed the effect on the experimental group, where after the strategy implementation, there was an improvement in information generation and evaluation skills with a raise in students' pre-test scores, which indicates the effectiveness of the proposed strategy in developing these skills.

In light of these findings, a few recommendations gave been made, the most important were: the need to reconsider the planning of physics curricula in the secondary stage where they focus on developing information generation and evaluation skills instead of being limited to information and knowledge; conduct further studies about the effectiveness of the proposed strategy based on TRIZ theory in teaching different subjects; in addition to conducting similar research and studies on other stages such as the elementary, middle and university stage.
