The true value of this research is counted on the two distinguished luminaries and scholars of Arabic language; Ibn Osfour and Ibn Yassoun.

The former is described as the banner man of Arabic language in Andalusia while the latter is well-known for his leadership of Arabic language and syntax.

The basic purpose of the research is to collect Ibn Osfour's objections، contained in his book “Al- Meftah”، to Ibn Yassoun، then examining and discussing those objections as well as reviewing scholars' opinions to see who was leading and who was lagging behind with reference to the case at hand.

Through the examination and discussion of this issue، we would be able to identify what is right and what is not، aided by reasons and clues which those scholars beheld.

Accordingly، the research includes an introduction، three chapters، a conclusion and a list of references.

In the introduction، the researcher highlights the importance of his topic، why he chose it، the research plan and the approach he utilized to examine the issues of objection in between the two luminaries.

Next، the first chapter tackles Ibn Osfour and his book “Al- Meftah” while the second chapter handles Ibn Yassoun.

The third chapter discusses Ibn Osfour's objections to Ibn Yassoun.

Finally، the conclusion sums up the findings of the research.

The most outstanding finding is that a great deal of Ibn Osfour's objections to Ibn Yassoun focused on Ibn Yassoun's non-compliance with the meaning implied in the syntactic orientation.

Ibn Yassoun did not also clarify cryptic and crypto- parsing.

The research has also highlighted Ibn Osfour's roughness as he described Ibn Yassoun's orientations as being weak، corrupt، groundless، disgraceful، away from being true and fanciful…etc.

The research has also found out that Ibn Yassoun received a great deal of Ibn Osfour's objections contained within the lines of “Al-Edhah”.
