Abstract EN

This article deals with the legal conditions and restrictions set by the Algerian legislator in the Codes of Penal, Penal Procedures, the Information Law 12-05 and the Child Protection Act 12.

15 in its coverage of justice issues.

It confirmed the ban on publishing, whether olute or relative, for news related to; Preliminary investigation; Secret sessions; Personal status proceedings, and juvenile court.

The legislator balanced between the principles of the right to information, the media freedom to publish news and the principles of protecting public order and morals, protecting the private life of individuals.

In case of violation of legal conditions and restrictions to cover the news of justice, the Algerian legislator imposed penal and disciplinary sanctions.
