The majority of the spouses give up their responsibilities to their children after divorcing their wives, which makes the children vulnerable to need.

Despite the existence of legislative guarantees in the family law and the penal code, the implementation of the provisions for maintenance of the foster wife and children may sometimes be impossible This has resulted in many problems for the foster woman and the loss of her children.

Therefore, many Arab countries have sought to find effective solutions through the adoption of practical strategies that contribute to raising the level of support for divorcees, the most important of which is the alimony fund.

One of the most prominent Arab experiences that recorded a significant change in the situation of divorcees and their children is the Tunisian experience.

The Algerian legislator finally intervenes under Law (15/01), which includes the establishment of the alimony fund to cope with the effects of unpaid maintenance by the debtor.

The forms presented are: To what extent does the introduction of the alimony fund guarantee the protection of the right of the child compared to the divorce fund and the maintenance allowance?
