Abstract EN
The aim of this research is to originate the scientific concept of values and the national identity and reinforce these concepts among young people.
This research improves the values of belonging and tries to keep our identity at the ideological, the historical and the cultural levels.
Therefore, it includes the characteristics of the conscious citizen, child education and the role of the Arab Organization for Education, Culture and Science.
In addition, the Japan and the Egyptian experiences for enhancing the values and the national identity of the children.
The most important features of these experiences are: they connect children with the religious and the historical beliefs, cling to language and bless land; the connection to education and the dedication to hard work.
They call for ethics, values, the general literature and family care which are the sources of the social structure and import the accurate educational knowledge as well.
Moreover, the Japan experience is distinguished by growing group work love, excluding individualism and connecting education with love, creativity and innovation not by testing and succeeding.
At the same time, the Egyptian experience is discriminated by the Islamic regulations which represent the main framework from which the educational values are provided.
As a conclusion, it is not probable to neglect the others' cultures and knowledge namely the positive sides that suit our Islamic and Arab society.
At the same time, the negative sides that spoil our society and nation should be ignored.
