Abstract EN

This study aimed at identifying the values promoting happiness included in the educational texts submitted for middle school students, and identifying the most comprehensive of these texts on these values, as well as identifying the role of education in supporting the values promoting happiness among middle school students, and reviewing the most important international experiences in the field of education from For happiness, the study relied on the descriptive approach, and it used a content analysis method to achieve the study's goals.

The most important results were as follows: 1- There are eleven values of happiness-enhancing values that should be developed among students of the preparatory stage: flexibility, optimism, perseverance, positivity, achievement, ambition, self-esteem, non-violence, independence, sympathy and selfresponsibility.

Educational texts of the Arabic language are more inclusive of the values associated with promoting happiness followed by educational texts of social studies and then English.
