Abstract EN

Islam recommends Jihad in all aspects of life such as jihad against Satan, endurance of pains, self-jihad and jihad in the way of Allah to stop aggression of enemies of Allah.

Islam has provided principles that govern jihad.

It distinguishes between fighting armed groups and unarmed civilians, the old, women and children.

This research investigates targeting these innocent unarmed civilian groups during wars between Muslims and non-Muslims.

It also investigates the attitude of Islam towards targeting economic places and worship places during wars.

The study also tackles the attitudes of Yemeni law and international law towards targeting such people and such places.

The study has been divided into four sections: Section one is about the concept of Jihad and its aims.

Section two deals with targeting civilians.

Section three deals with targeting peaceful economic places.
