Abstract EN

Our study aims to analyze and measure the impact of tourism activity on various variables of economic stability in Algeria (economic growth, employment, trade balance, inflation and exchange rate), where we first addressed the basic concepts about tourism, then, the reality of tourism in Algeria.

Finally, the contributions of tourism activities in the national economy.

The application of the simple linear regression and relying on the SPSS program outputs, we have reached many results, the most important are: There is a strong positive correlation between tourism revenues and economic growth in Algeria, as well as a strong correlation between the number of tourist arrivals and tourist employment, in addition, a strong correlation between tourism revenues and the exchange rate in Algeria.

Meanwhile, we found a strong inverse relationship between the growth of the number of tourists and the inflation rates in Algeria.
