Abstract EN

As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to spread in the Arab region, and actions and measures to reduce it continue, the effects of the pandemic on the health, social, economic and psychological aspects of individuals are compounded, affecting their quality of life.

This paper aims to study the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on the quality of life in the Arab region based on a scientific framework represented in Lindstrom's general quality of life model.

This model included four spheres: the global sphere; the external sphere; the interpersonal sphere; the personal sphere, and in turn each sphere comprises a subset of objective and subjective dimensions.

Significant pandemic impacts on the quality of life in the Arab region have been identified, according to the spheres, and the most important recommendations to help reduce or eliminate these effects.
