Abstract EN

The present work aims to study the contribution of the Islamic Maghreb'sscholars in the orient during the almohads era.

It highlights the extent to which these scholars contribute in the enlightenment of orient societies and the dissemination of science and knowledge.

The sixth and seventh centuries of the migration witnessed a remarkable cultural flourishing in the West and the East, which coincided with the presence of the Almohads in the West and the Abbasids in the East.

Among the factors that contributed to this intellectual development was the internal scientific trips between the West and Andalusia and the external ones, which were between the Islamic East and West.

These scientific trips led to scientific communication between East and West.

This allowed the scholars of the West and Andalusia to take Science and knowledge from the sheikhs of the Orient.

On the other hand, their contribution to the spread of religious sciences there like "Readings, jurisprudence, Hadith, mysticism and linguistic literature, poetry, prose, grammar", social sciences and mental sciences such as medicine, pharmacy and philosophy.

Almohad era was characterized by a great number of foreign scientific trips, especially from West to the East.

This what was confirmed by historical sources such as the book "Nafh al-Tayeb" by al-Maqri, many Moroccan and Andalusian scholars left to the east in this age - Almohadi - some of them stayed for a while then returned to his country and some of them stayed there till his death.

Some of these were issued for reading and teaching in Oriental educational institutions such as mosques, schools and others.

They competed with outstanding scientists in the field of science and proved their worth in this field.

They even won prestigious and high positions among the oriental rulers.
