The study aims at highlighting the occupational risks and diseases resulting from them, with all the negative effects that hinder development, compared to what may be reflected positively at all levels starting from improving the performance of workers and ensuring job satisfaction and its impact on productivity and competitiveness of the institution, in order to reduce costs and contribute to the balance of funds Social security.

The study concludes that the hypothesis of the correlation between the workplace and occupational diseases can be reduced, and that the workplace is a place where the social, economic and environmental dimensions of sustainable development converge inextricably, if the human resource is invested and enabled to enjoy its right to Safe working environment.

The study recommends the necessity of securing the working environment from the activation and modernization of legislation, based on the international standards of OSH management systems and voluntary integration, through the adoption of the concepts of social responsibility of institutions, as a positive impact on development in all its dimensions.
