This research paper aims to test the efficiency of the Egyptian Stock Exchange before and after its application to the principles of governance during the years 2010 and 2018, based on the theory of random movement of stock prices, the results of the measurement showed a positive relationship statistically significant between the establishment of the principles of governance and raise the efficiency of the Egyptian financial market, through pushing Applicable companies have to disclose more quality and credible information, eliminate the problem of asymmetry of information among investors, and thus increase the confidence of dealers in the stock market, which can only be achieved by obtaining fair and equal treatment, whether domestic or foreign.
