Abstract EN

With the increasing activities of organizations and industrial institutions, the environment has been severely damaged.

This has led the international community to show an increased interest and different organizations were putting great efforts what have resulted in defining set of requirements that organizations have to take into account during their operation with the aim of protecting the environment.

These requirements were translated at the national level through a series of legislations issued with the aim of obliging organizations to respect the environmental standards.

This study comes to show the Algerian experience regarding the organizations’ environmental upgrade and the most important mechanisms that have been created by the legislator and organizations must take into account when they are first established then once in service in order to protect the environment
