Modern technology has effects in several areas in our daily life, as we find that it can be used and harnessed to serve justice and prevent crime in particular, and we have noticed that many countries, including Algeria, have been using the electronic censorship system, with different applications, and we have tried in this research paper to shed light on the role of electronic surveillance in limiting recidivism of crime, focusing on the preventive role of this mechanism, indicating what the electronic status under surveillance system is, then the conditions for applying the status under electronic surveillance and the consequences of violating it, especially those related to recidivism.
