The architect is one of the professionals who preform intellectual work.

He is an artist who works to express the total knowledge and skills that he possesses in the art of construction, and since he innovates in his field with his work of engineering works for the owner of the project – within the framework of the contract of contract – The extension of legal protection to the said works, from which it is subject, like the author, to the law governing copyright and related rights.

From this point of view, we will examine the extent of the legal protection of the architect on his works, by reference to all the legal texts taken for this purpose by the Algerian legislator.
