This paper aims to highlight the effectiveness of the principle of cooperation contained in the Statute of the International Criminal Court, between states parties and the Court, by eapparouting the texts on cooperation, in which the State party is obliged to respond to all forms of cooperation provided, from Prosecuting suspects, to provide the required assistance of their public authorities and judicial institutions, to the Court, its public prosecution, and the exceptions or restrictions brought in by the texts By highlighting the mechanisms on which the Court relies for cooperation, are these mechanisms sufficient to enable the ICC to carry out its functions in an effective and fair trial of international crimes?
