Abstract EN

The genetic fingerprint is regarded as one the most important scientific discoveries in the modern age, for it accurately identifies one's identity.

Therefort, most of western legislations have stipulated it, the judiciary has adopte dit in rendering judgements and Arab countries started implementing this in order to define the cri, inals and attribute the crimes to their real committers.

The genetic fingerprint is also considered as a meqns to prove or disprove descent because one obtains it from his parents through heredity.

The genetic fingerprint remainsin the individual even after death.

It does not change nor vanish in spite of deformation or burn marks.

In fact, it is a proving means that is used in different fields including the descent.

However, there must be certain rules ad conditions so that its results would be of an acute evidencing.
