Abstract EN

This research aims to study the evolution of the level of economic diversity in Algeria with all its dimensions, in order to highlight the reflection of the policy of transition to the market economy, adopted since the end of the 1980s, on the structural nature of the national economy.

finely, we concluded that the economic transition policy in Algeria had a positive effect on the development of the fabric of economic institutions, where most of them became a private sector, and the positive effect was marked on the structural composition of national production, which has been distributed, in an acceptable way, over various domains of production, while the structure of Algerian exports had not a significant effect by the economic transition policy, and it still suffers from a high concentration in the hydrocarbon sector.
