Abstract EN

This research aims to clarifying the compatibility of supervision methods of the bank of Algeria with the characteristics of the Islamic banks, whereas there are two Islamic banks active in Algeria which namely al Baraka bank and al Salam bank after showing the theoretical aspect of Islamic banks and the definition of various financing formulas, than showing the fact of Islamic banking, we have reached a set of results that there are no supervisory methods that are compatible with characteristics of Islamic banks, but are methods based on the activity of traditional banks, that which necessitates reconsidering the legislation of the Islamic banks.
