This study addressed the level of psychological fitness among the newly-married employees working in the medical field and its relationship with their altruistic self-esteem.

The researcher selected a sample from the public and private hospitals and health centers in Al-Karak governorate in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan with a total of (105) individuals.

Developed a scale for psychological fitness among the newly-married employees working in the medical field and translated the scale of (Pardo, &.

, Cotrina, 2016) regarding altruistic self-esteem.

Also psychological fitness and altruistic self-esteem among the newly-married employees working in the medical field was medium and that there is a relationship between psychological fitness and altruistic self-esteem.

The results revealed that there were no differences regarding psychological fitness and altruistic self-esteem among the newly-married employees working in the medical field according to gender or job.

Based on the results, the researcher recommended some recommendations, including the necessity of paying attention to those working in the medical field from the newly-married employees.
