The study aimed to identify the views of the deaf and hard of hearing and cochlear growers in choosing the main partner for marriage from their point of view in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia by identifying their wishes to choose a partner (hearing, deaf, hearing impaired, cochlear implant, other disability), and the study was applied to a sample Randomized from deaf and hard-of-hearing people and cochlear implants from the age of (18) years and above, and to achieve this goal applied the descriptive approach, and the study sample consisted of (72) deaf and hard-of-hearing and cochlear growers and they were randomly selected.

For the purpose of the study, the researcher prepared an electronic questionnaire consisting of (16) Paragraph, the apparent validity of the questionnaire was verified by presenting it to a group of experts and specialists, and the stability of the questionnaire was calculated as the stability rate reached (0.749), and this indicates that the questionnaire has a high degree of stability, The results showed the following: that 80.6% of the total study sample belongs to the deaf / deaf person of the parents' family (mother and father) are listening, and that 11.1% of them are from the family of one of the parents (mother and father), one is deaf and the other is hearing, and with a percentage 13.9% of them are the parents' family (mother and father) of the deaf group, and by 19.4% of them are from the family of one of the parents (mother and father), one of them has a hearing disability and the other has a handicap, and the deaf / deaf person's preference for choosing a life partner in marriage came as follows: Marrying a person who has a weak hearing, then a deaf person, then a hearing person, then a cochlear implant, and the members of the study sample do not agree to marry a person who has a disability other than hearing impairment, and that 77.8% of the total members of the study sample have never attended a course that qualifies them For marriage , What is 65.3% of the total study sample individuals there is no appropriate social support (societal view) related to their choice of partner and acceptance of marriage, and 58.3% of the total study sample members there was no psychological and moral support in terms of adjustment and preparation for marriage, and 66.7% of Total members of the study sample, there is no material support for them related to facilitating marriage, and the study reached a number of recommendations, including the rehabilitation of deaf people with courses that qualify them for marriage, the need for psychological and moral support in terms of adaptation and preparation for marriage for the deaf.

Working to find and provide financial support related to facilitating marriage and covering dowry requirements for the deaf.
