Abstract EN

This article aims to illustrate the impact of contemporary digital transformations on the concept of diplomacy by showing all the effects that contributed to the formation of the new meaning of contemporary diplomacy.

That meaning, which is certainly different from the traditional meaning previously known, is specifically linked to the diplomatic character of the diplomatic agent and the functions entrusted to him under that capacity.

.

.

In order to reach this goal, we shall first clarify the fundamental differences between the concept of traditional and contemporary diplomacy as well as the different shapes that are related to each, thus illustrating factors that shaped that contemporary concept.

We then come to the conclusion of the legal aspects that correctly define the concept of contemporary diplomacy.
