Corruption is one of the most serious problems faced by the economies of countries, especially in light of the changes experienced by the international community due to several factors such as globalization factor, which reduced the role of the state, allowing the spread of corruption in all countries including Maghreb countries in general and Algeria in particular.

The latter has had several efforts to combat the phenomenon of corruption so that it has been able to take good steps through the establishment of a number of anti-corruption bodies, including the National Commission for the Prevention of Corruption, the National Bureau for the Suppression of Fraud, the Accounting Council and the General Inspectorate of Finance which have an important role in this field.
