Abstract EN

Tourism has become one of the important social and economic phenomenon, which occupies a pivotal position within the economy of a multitude of developing and developed countries, and considered as one of the pillars of its economy, in regard to its efficient contribution to national income and its national and international investments in touristic regions.

tourism development is directly related to different attraction factors like historical, cultural and natural landscape ones, in addition to the touristic site’s infrastructures and the presence of entertainment means.

but even though, all these attraction elements may not influence notably the tourists in case of lack of social security, so this paper work attempts to shed light on the impact of security and social stability on touristic development by answering the following set of questions: what is the definition of tourism? what is its economic role? and what is the impact of security and social stability on touristic development?
