Abstract EN

the aim of this study is clarifying the democratic transformarion's process in Algeria and its conceptual content, and trying to identify the different challenges that prevent its execution.

as Algeria has witnessed big historical events specially October 1988'event which is considered as the official start of the incarnation of the democratic sistem' features and principles.

So, this study aims to highlighting the fact of democratic transformarion in Algeria and the different challenges that faced the actual application of this process under the 1989 constitution and its legal texts supporting the constitutional political practice under a regime that aims at giving effect to the principles of democratic policy, to be finally reached to a set of pros regarding the future of democratic change in Algeria
