Abstract EN

This research paper aims to identify the relation between government performance and trust in Algeria, in order to achieve this goal, we divided the study into three main axes.

The first focuses on the conceptual framework related to the performance of political institutions on the one hand and trust on the other.

The two remaining axes represented the descriptive study of the relationship between government performance and trust in Algeria, and the statistical test of this relationship.

where we did this through the distribution of a questionnaire to 203 Algerian citizens.

At the end of the study, we concluded that government performance on several aspects affects the levels of trust (trust in individuals, trust in institutions) on the one hand, and the Independent T-Test showed that this effect varied from level to level on the other hand.
