Abstract EN

The study aims to identify the reality of the implementation and evaluation of public policies in Algeria, as two stages of public policy-making, where implementation works to transform public policy from its advertising status to its applied state by embodying the planned objectives, as for the evaluation It is the mechanism for the accurate and efficient measurement of policies and their outputs and how they can be used as a base in the future decision-making process.

The main obstacles and difficulties faced by the two processes were highlighted by identifying weaknesses and the reasons for them in order to find radical solutions.

Knowing the real cause of the problem contributes greatly to its solution, as Algeria is witnessing many challenges, especially at the level of its administrative body, which suffers from several office diseases, that in turn affect its performance and role, and there is no real interest in the evaluation process, the results of which make a significant difference in the promotion of government performance and the rationalization of public policy-making.
