The objective of this study is to study alternatives to the sustainability of public finances in Algeria after the decline in oil revenues, with a focus on non-conventional financing policy and its main implications on national economic indicators and the independence of the Bank of Algeria, The study concluded that the non-conventional financing mechanism would negatively affect the independence and sovereignty of the Bank of Algeria, due to the intervention of the executive power represented by the Treasury in the monetary policy alongside the Bank of Algeria, as well as the emergence of inflationary pressures and the decline in the value of the Algerian Dinar
