Summary: The argumentative value in interpretative discourseThis article discusses one of the most important pragmatic theories; which is the theory of argumentation, to reveal the argumentative value within the interpretative discourse, which is constructed of the segments of the original discourse, so that it will be a functional interpretative discourse, this problomatic topic is determinated by the frequency of argumentation in the interpretative speech, using it means and devices in order to effect minds, intellects and behavior.

This article attempt to study the techniques and means of interpretatve argumentative discourse, in Ibn Badis's book tituled: Majalis altadhkir min kalam alhakim alkhabir through surat al Nahl; by extracting the argumentative mechanisms and it's technics employed in the interpretation of the Quran.

These several mechanisms differ according to the interpreter and the interpretative discourse.

To whom this speech is directed? and to what extent the interpretive speech have contributed in convincing and effecting the recipient.
