ERIC - SCIENCE DIRECTThe use of the term electronic information industry has widely spread in the few recent years in comparaison with other notions that express this new generation of modern and advanced industry.

It has been strongly mentioned in the writings and citations of various labels.

This is confirmed by the published titles in the field and the various data observatories, namely LISA, ERIC, AMAZON, In addition to popular search engines and directories such as Google, Yahoo as well as some lists and other information banks.

Despite all what has been said and said about this new concept that expresses a new generation of industry associated with the information age, the question remains about the concept and term expressed by this information industry.

This study comes as an attempt by the researcher to consolidate this concept and to hold the databases about this term, which is more than scientific controversy, and to clarify the meaning of the term and to get rid of the ambiguity and simplify well this concept.
