Abstract EN

In this study, we aim to clarify the role of Islamic finance in Algeria, by evaluating the effectiveness of Islamic banking by adopting the case study of the Algerian Al Baraka Bank.

The results of the study concluded that Islamic finance is almost non-existent and has no effectiveness against the desire of most project owners for this type of financing.

It finds only Hasana loans suitable for social financing and not investment, or in the form of short-term murabaha aimed at financing the cycle of exploitation without the investment cycle.
