Abstract EN

The objective of this study is to address the situation of the Algerian insurance market globally and in the continental world by using international statistics which deals with insurance in the world.

It also examines the local situation of the insurance market and its actual role in financing the national economy, taking into consideration the global developments in the insurance sector, and the emergence of a competitive sector that offers the same variety of insurance services in a modern way, which called the insurance technology where the emerging institutions in the technology of insurance provide financial services in the sector using advanced technology in the framework of what is known as financial technology, and from The results obtained in this study the distance of the Algerian insurance market from the technological developments which happening in the sector, also the slow growth in the traditional market and its very weak contribution to the financing of the national economy.
